Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description:
- Create product drawings.
- Based on product drawings, product samples and technical requirements, design stamping dies.
- Complete detailed tooling design and prepare full engineering drawings.
- Participate in die fabrication, testing, debugging, and optimization, resolving technical issues arising during the die-making process.
- Collaborate with die fabrication, maintenance, and product design teams to ensure smooth project execution. Track die machining progress and quality issues, provide timely feedback, and drive improvements.
Expected experience and skill:
- More than 4 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, tooling design, manufacturing, or related fields.
- Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD and SOLIDWORKS/UG.
- Capable of independently designing complete sets of stamping dies, with solid knowledge of die material selection and heat‑treatment processes.
- Candidates with metal stamping die project experience, especially familiarity with progressive dies and compound dies, are preferred.
- Understand die fabrication processes and inspection methods.
- Able to match and select appropriate molds and equipment based on product characteristics.
- Proficient in spoken English and email communication, with the ability to read English technical drawings and documents.
