HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT:
The Human Resources Coordinator plays a key role in supporting talent and people first programs, data integrity and communication programs that delivers a positive and engaging employee experience, and successful business outcomes.
THE DETAILS:
- Provide support to programs that contribute to a-people first culture including recruitment, onboarding, talent development, engagement, recognition and employee programs.
- Be the first point of contact for team member inquiries, providing guidance and resources with a focus on professionalism and service.
- Assist in recruitment activities, including posting roles, screening resumes, prescreening interviews scheduling interviews, and preparing offer letters.
- Manage onboarding and integration processes to ensure a consistent and effective new hire experience.
- Support new hire onboarding, orientation scheduling, and integration activities.
- Coordinate employee programs including purchases, service awards and clothing.
- Coordinate and support talent development including trades apprentices, interns, and emerging talent.
- Administer and coordinate the group benefits program, including enrollment, communication with providers, addressing employee inquiries, and ensuring compliance with plan policies.
- Support employee engagement and recognition programs, including arranging events and coordinating recognition elements.
- Support the planning and execution of engagement, community service and wellness initiatives.
- Coordinate the site newsletter, collecting and writing content, and delivering an engaging design.
- Manage and maintain accurate employee data within SuccessFactors, ADP, and SAP systems.
- Conduct regular audits of HR data and systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Coordinate drafting communication for events, initiatives, and internal announcements including TV media, email and other posted formats.
- Provide administrative support to the General Manager, including travel, expenses, and reporting.
- Provide support and organization for site events, visitors, meetings.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards.
- Other tasks and projects assigned
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or related field.
- Must have a CHRP or CHRL Designation
- 2 years of related experience, preferably in manufacturing
- Proven organization and time-management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive mindset with a commitment to enhancing the employee experience in a people-focused culture.
- Demonstrated proactive approach to deliver service, care and results to enhance business outcomes and continuously enhance our team member’s experience.
- Strong verbal communication and presentation skills, with experience delivering clear, engaging content to diverse audiences in both formal and informal settings.
- Proven ability to build collaborative relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to develop clear, compelling content and effectively promote programs and initiatives.
- Demonstrates discretion, professionalism, and emotional intelligence in handling sensitive matters and building trust across all levels of the organization.
