Responsiblities:

 

  • Troubleshoot machine issues by observing mechanical equipment in operation, listening for problems, using precision measuring and testing equipment
  • Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements on motors, hydraulics, pneumatics and production machines.
  • Repair, remove, and replace defective parts
  • Fabricate parts using drawings.
  • Ensure consistency among the shifts by documenting and communicating maintenance work done, irregularities and ongoing needs.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following procedures, rules and regulations
  • Support and actively participate in continuous improvement activities and projects.

 

Requirements:

  • Certified Industrial Millwright (433A)
  • Served full apprenticeship (schooling and hours) in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to effectively and efficiently troubleshoot equipment.
  • CNC, robotics, laser, press shop, packaging and automation experience would be an asset
  • Proficient welding, machining and fabricating skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals and service requests
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills, attention to detail, sense of urgency and initiative

 

SHIFTS:

  • Rotational - Available to work 3 shifts – days, afternoons, midnights.
