HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT:

The Shipper/Receiver ensures accurate and timely handling of all incoming and outgoing shipments, maintains inventory integrity through SAP transactions and labeling, and prepares documentation to meet customer and quality standards at the Guelph, Ontario plant.

THE DETAILS:

  • Shipping and Receiving Operations: Responsible for loading/unloading trucks, picking and palletizing orders, applying customer-specific labels and handling outbound non-finished and finished goods. Receive product into warehouse and central stores. Operate reach trucks order pickers (working at heights) and tow- motors. 
  • Communication & Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams and couriers to prioritize shipments, resolve issues, support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with special projects as needed.
  • Documentation & Planning: Prepare and process shipping documents and SAP transactions to maintain accurate records and compliance with customer requirements.
  • Training & Knowledge Sharing: Provide cross-training, assist with ergonomic rotation and train peers to ensure operational flexibility and efficiency.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure shipments meet quality standards, troubleshoot issues, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and proper stocking of finished goods and raw materials.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

Education & Certification: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Technical Skills: Proficient in reading and writing and basic computer skills.

Soft Skills: Strong focus on continuous learning, flexibility, and customer service, with a commitment to quality and maintaining positive relationships with coworkers and customers.

Teamwork: Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
