HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT:
The Sr. Human Resources Generalist partners across the site to champion a positive Team Member experience and successful business outcomes, bringing expertise and impactful solutions in employee relations, engagement, talent retention, learning and development, employee committees, communication, and legal compliance.
THE DETAILS:
- Design and implement programs that contribute to a-people first culture, including talent development, learning programs, recognition, and engagement.
- Provide consultation and support to leaders and team members on HR policies, programs, and company practices
- Develop, and facilitate policies and programs ensuring consistent interpretation and application
- Oversee and lead programs related to accommodation and disability management with a focus on consistency, compliance, and employee well-being.
- Create and deliver learning programs focused on developing talent across the organization.
- Administer the educational support program.
- Lead and collaborate with internal committees to coordinate employee engagement and community service events, wellness initiatives, inclusion and belonging and personal development pathways.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for production roles.
- Manage onboarding and integration processes to ensure a consistent and effective new hire experience.
- Support the resolution of employee issues by conducting thorough investigations, and recommending appropriate outcomes in alignment with company values, policies and legal requirements
- Support feedback processes such as ask-me-anything sessions, surveys, stay interviews, and exit interviews, including trend analysis providing recommendations to improve engagement.
- Support hourly performance management and annual pay increase cycles.
- Coordinate the site newsletter, collecting and writing content, and delivering an engaging design.
- Conduct job evaluations to support new and changing roles, and ensure compliance with pay equity
- Support Benefits, Success Factors, SAP and ADP data administration and regular audits
- Other tasks and projects assigned
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or related field.
- Must have a CHRP or CHRL Designation
- 5 years of related experience in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing
- Demonstrated ability to think beyond immediate tasks to identify opportunities for process improvement, strategic alignment, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Demonstrated proactive approach to deliver service, care and results to enhance business outcomes and continuously enhance the employee experience.
- Strong verbal communication and presentation skills, with experience delivering clear, engaging content to diverse audiences in both formal and informal settings.
- Proven leadership in facilitating meetings and committees, with the ability to guide discussions, build consensus, and drive action-oriented outcomes.
- Proven ability to build collaborative relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to develop clear, compelling content and effectively brand and promote HR programs, initiatives, and internal campaigns across multiple platforms.
- Proven ability to analyze complex issues, prioritize effectively, and communicate solutions with clarity and precision.
- Exemplifies discretion, professionalism, and emotional intelligence in handling sensitive matters and building trust across all levels of the organization.
