HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
Plans, directs, controls and coordinates work for the Kansas City Distribution Center. Develops and recommends policies and programs to guide the warehouse in managing and improving product cost, quality, delivery and operating efficiency. Continually fosters developmental opportunities to maintain a competent team.
THE DETAILS
- Manage product flow and allocate resources efficiently in collaboration with leadership, customer service, and sales teams.
- Establish and monitor cost controls, budgets, and inventory management processes for shipping, packaging, and distribution.
- Provide guidance to subordinates, communicate plans, and identify opportunities for improvement through feedback and training.
- Support safety and environmental practices, ensure compliance, and lead projects to improve distribution center operations and meet customer demands.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a distribution center or relevant field, with strong leadership, facilitation, and supervisory skills.
- Proven experience in budget preparation and management, including overseeing shipping, storage, and packaging processes.
- Expertise in warehouse safety and security program development, staff training, and performance evaluation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of expressing technical and non-technical information clearly.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented, high-performance environment.

Onsite as required for the position.
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Washington, Colorado, Nevada, California, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Connecticut, Oregon Tool is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Oregon Tool, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $87,000 - $115,000.
