HIGHLIGHTS:
Hourly Rate: $30.42/hr
Shift: Monday - Friday; 230pm-11pm
HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT:
The 2nd Shift Maintenance Tech II will perform tasks related to troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining industrial machinery, equipment and other facility resources, both inside and outside. Repairs and maintenance will support safety, cost, efficiency and quality.
THE DETAILS:

- Use basic problem-solving skills to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment or facility. This includes, but is not limited to: Automated packaging equipment, warehouse racking, warehouse doors, dock plates, basic electrical, basic welding, basic woodworking, basic plumbing, basic hazard/waste removal.
- Use proper disassembly and reassembly techniques to repair tools, mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic equipment.
- Isolate and identify equipment problem area(s). Identify additional testing required to determine complete problem / root cause.
- Setup Preventative Maintenance to reduce/eliminate future down time.
- Use Continuous Improvement techniques to help improve safety and efficiency of processes in all departments.
- Use knowledge of motors, wiring diagrams, schematics, and diagrams to complete documented maintenance depending upon production systems or equipment.
- Troubleshoot, repair, align, calibrate, inspect, and test variety of production systems and equipment.
- Participate in Preventive Maintenance (“PM”) and Total Productive Maintenance (“TPM”) programs.
- Keep PM and TPM records updated and organized.
- Maintain PM and TPM schedule.
- Establish good working relationships with vendors.
- Work with vendors to schedule any maintenance and repairs in a timely manner.
- Work with vendors to discuss improvements of the facility and processes, focusing on safety, quality, efficiency and cost savings.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Associate’s degree or Technical Certificate in Manufacturing Technology or a similar related field or equivalent relevant experience preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Demonstrate understanding and basic skill of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatics troubleshooting and repair.
- Welding skill with Arc, MIG and/or TIG preferred. Finished weld project is square, true, and free of sharp corners.
- Demonstrate ability to keep current with continuously changing technologies related to safety, machinery and equipment, assembly related tools and testing equipment.
- Demonstrate ability to work with internal and external customers.
- Must be able to read and interpret engineering blueprints and specifications.
- Demonstrate ability to be flexible and adaptable while responding to the changing business environment and demands as well as anticipate changes.
- Able to complete responsibilities in a timely, professional and quality manner.
- Collaborative and effective team player and able to work with teams who are globally dispersed. Set a good example of personal integrity.
- Demonstrate ability and willingness to learn; seek out development activities to improve skills and increase knowledge; learn from other team members and own mistakes

Available to work on site as required by job including non-standard shifts
