HIGHLIGHTS:
Hourly Rate: $17.44/hr plus $1/hr shift differential for 2nd Shift
Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday - Thursday) (330pm-2am)
HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
Responsible for performing warehouse functions to pack postponement orders, verifying the correct quantity and quality of the product.

THE DETAILS

Adhere to shipping requirements, transfer order notes to avoid delay of shipments. Work diligently to meet work schedules and deadlines.

Prepare, package, label material as required to ensure product will arrive to customer location without damage.

Perform special projects and complete special requests (20%)

Work with postponement supervisors and leads to plan and complete by performing tasks in shipping, packaging, labeling, and auditing.

Seek leadership when there are questions, and support leadership by following direction.

Work with supervisor/lead from previous/next shift to determine priorities and ensure proper work flow.

Maintain open communication through conversation and both formal and informal documents.

5S (continuous)

Clean and remove trash to designated areas of work and throughout daily duties.

Identify and report safety hazards.

Follow evacuation / emergency procedures.

Understand and apply hazard communication standard, lockout/tag-out, machine guarding, blood borne pathogens and confined spaces as applies to position.

Understand and use correct gloves, safety glasses, steel toe shoes and hearing protection when required.

Follow proper bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling techniques.
-
Adhere to motorized equipment usage and pedestrian safety.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or nationally recognized regionally accredited equivalent required.

Entry level, some warehouse experience wanted but not necessary.

Able to complete responsibilities in a timely, professional and quality manner

Solve problems analytically; search out relevant information and gauge its importance when making decisions

Effective written and oral communication skills; able to express oneself clearly and in technical and nontechnical terms.
