Purpose / Mission
Transform product strategy into market execution by developing and implementing campaigns, offers, and sales tools that drive growth and competitiveness within assigned product categories. Collaborate closely with Product Management, Sales, and Brand teams to ensure commercial readiness and alignment with both global direction and regional priorities.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the full lifecycle of assigned product categories, from launch planning to end-of-life decisions, ensuring optimal portfolio performance.
• Translate global product strategies into regional go-to-market plans including pricing, positioning, and promotional activities.
• Collaborate with Brand & Communications to brief for development and delivery of Marketing assets (brochures, sell-in decks, digital assets, POS materials) tailored to channel needs.
• Collaborate with Sales to define campaign objectives, promotional plans, and give insights for sales forecasts.
• Provide market feedback to Global Product Management, supporting product roadmap adjustments and prioritization.
• Coordinate with Brand & Communications to ensure messaging consistency and high-quality visuals across all channels.
• Monitor category performance (sales, margin, market share) and propose corrective actions or growth initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional category reviews to align actions and ensure delivery of commercial targets.
• Lead regional product development projects when the organization identifies business opportunities primarily within EMEA scope.
• Benchmark competition across Europe in the relevant distribution channels
Key Interfaces
Internal: Product Management, Sales, Brand & Communications, Regional Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance.
External: Agencies, distributors, dealers, and creative suppliers.
Profile
- Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in Product Marketing, Category Management, or Commercial Marketing in an international environment.
- Strong experience translating global product strategies into regional go-to-market plans.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Brand teams.
- Solid analytical skills with experience managing portfolio performance (sales, margin, market share).
- Strong project management and stakeholder influence skills.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
- Comfortable working in a matrix, multicultural environment with occasional European travel.
