The successful candidate will develop, execute, maintain, and report on detailed inventory, purchase, and delivery plans for all products, manufactured or externally procured, that are included in his/her portfolio. Other key responsibilities include analyzing data and making recommendations to achieve profitability, customer service, and inventory levels objectives. This position will rotate between the three different planning disciplines: manufacturing planning, external procurement, and inter-company procurement.

Reports to: Supply Planning Manager
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Optimize inventory ensuring the right quantity of the right product is at the right location at the right time to drive high service levels
- Communicate availability information and resolve issues with suppliers and customers
- Maintain data integrity for planning/purchasing MRP elements to facilitate exception-based planning activities
- Create and maintain purchase orders, and production orders
- Actively contribute to the SIOP process and review and execute on operations plan taking constraints into consideration
- Set up master data for materials via CMA process including MRP data, info records, source lists, etc.
- Provide supply/inventory status and projection
- Use existing, or develop new, tools to identify supply risks and suggest mitigation actions
- Support Product Health activities and align inventory strategies to the products life cycle
- Track and deep dive on KPIs including OTIF, Overstock, Past Due, Inventory days, etc.
- Work closely with the Sourcing/Procurement, Warehouse, Customer Service, Product Marketing/Category Management, and local Managing Director to ensure target order fill rates are being met for daily customer orders
- Initiate, organize, and participate in continuous improvement activities
- Identify opportunities for improvement in the document control process and participate in department or company training activities
- Follow up on past due elements
- Participate in self-development activities and related classes
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline, with focus in supply chain, preferred
Knowledge & Experience:
- Established knowledge of industry and customers and understanding of the B2B and B2C markets, and respective requirements
- SAP Planning (MM/PP) experience preferred
- APICS certifications and/or coursework in planning, scheduling, inventory management, inventory control, Lean, Six Sigma, and theory of constraints, preferred
Skills/Abilities:
- Able to complete responsibilities in a timely, professional, and quality manner
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Fluent in English. Any other European language is an asset
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective work relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills, effective business analysis, project management and quantitative skills
- Proven effective team player with ability to build and maintain relationships to achieve results
- Inquisitive, with ability to research and make efficient use of resources to achieve effective business results
- Ability to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously, ability to transfer lessons learned into new processes, flexibility in job focus
- Self-starter with high activity level
- Proficient in using, navigating, reporting through standard ERP software (SAP preferred), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and Windows operations
Travel Requirements: 25% of time or less
