ESSENTIAL FUNCTION: 

Under minimal supervision, responsibilities include setting up and performing complex machine operations on all machines.  Meets company quality standards and performs basic preventative maintenance. Read difficult blueprints and may train others.

 

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBIILITES:

Sets up and operates complex equipment.  Performs basic maintenance on these machines. May troubleshoot some machine operations.

 

Lay out and performs machine operations from drawings or instructions.

 

May build sample or prototype parts, constructs temporary tooling or fixuring.

 

Checks work using various inspections instruments and troubleshoots operating problems.

 

Set up and may train other operators on equipment.

 

Performs all operations according to prescribed safety principles.

 

Keeps work area clean.

 

Performs other duties as assigned.
