HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT:
The Customer Accounts Coordinator I is the secondary support contact for providing customer service for domestic and/or international trade customers (retailers, distributors and OEM accounts). Primary duties involve, but are not limited to, facilitating the sales process by entering orders, answering product questions, providing status of open order and projecting estimated shipping information and provide best of class customer service to our customers. Supports the Customer Accounts Coordinator Team in their needs.
THE DETAILS:
- Customer Service
- Receive and enter customer orders from phone, e-mail, fax, EDI or MRP requirements
- Provide timely communications and follow up to the customer of order status, availability, pricing, promotions, shipment information, credit issues, returns and any other customer service requirements of the customer. Supports CACII and Lead CAC as needed in higher level tasks.
- Data & Information
- Create and maintain customer master data, pricing, payment terms, transportation times and internal tracking documents.
- Ensure purchase order records are maintained for accurate record retention and audits
- Responds to information requests by phone, fax or mail
- Communication and Documentation
- Maintain open communication through conversation and both formal and informal documents
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- 1+ years of experience in business-to-business customer service role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and data management software (SAP preferred)
- Able to complete responsibilities in a timely, professional and quality manner
- Solve problems analytically; search out relevant information and gauge its importance when making decisions
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills; able to express oneself clearly and in technical and non-technical terms
- Creative thinker and detail oriented
- Ability to work independently and as a collaborative and effective team player able to work with teams who are globally dispersed
- Set a good example of personal integrity
- Demonstrate ability and willingness to learn; seek out development activities to improve skills and increase knowledge; learn from other team members and own mistakes
- Take initiative, seek and act on opportunities to improve organization performance
At Oregon Tool, we provide a reasonable, good-faith estimate of the compensation range for this role of $40,560 to $43,680. Final offers are based on various factors such as experience, skills, qualifications and internal equity. This range may vary based on geographic location where the position is filled, and most new hires are not typically hired at the top of the range.
