HIGHLIGHTS:
Hourly Rate: $19.75/hr
Shift: 1st Shift
HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
Operates under supervision in completion of finished products.
DUTIES
- Assemble with Precision: Build complex mechanical units and engineering prototypes with high accuracy, using a variety of standard and specialty tools; identify and recommend design/documentation improvements.
- Operate Equipment Safely: Load/unload materials using overhead cranes, jibs, carts, or forklifts (if trained); attach rigging for safe transport of components.
- Paint & Finish Components: Prepare surfaces and apply paints, lacquers, or enamels by spray or brush, ensuring proper finish and quality on all parts.
- Support Production Flow: Hang/take down parts on paint lines, scan work orders and serial tags to access blueprints, and perform additional routine tasks as needed.
SKILL AND EXPERIENCE
- Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED required; up to one year of related experience or equivalent training preferred.
- Communication & Comprehension: Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to understand and relay technical and non-technical information, read blueprints, safety rules, and procedure manuals.
- Work Ethic & Safety Focus: Committed to quality, timeliness, cleanliness, and strict adherence to safety protocols and use of PPE.
- Adaptability & Problem Solving: Quick learner with a proactive mindset; able to follow instructions, resolve routine issues, and cross-train across departments as needed.
AVAILABILITY
- Available to work on site as required by job
- Available to work 1st Shift Hours
- Finishers work a 40-hour week, plus overtime as required to meet production schedules. Overtime will be based on production demands.
