Hourly Rate: $22.14 - $24.90
Shift: Monday - Friday; 630a- 3p
HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
The purpose of this position will be to administer cycle counts for inventory accuracy and provide support to Production as needed to increase plant productivity. This position is responsible for researching, identifying and correcting inventory discrepancies as needed under minimal supervision. This position will also provide support to the Materials Team & Plant Supervisors by the distribution of daily reports, preparing shop order packets, printing shop order packets & serial tag distribution.
THE DETAILS
- Drive Inventory Accuracy & Problem Resolution – Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve inventory discrepancies through cycle counts, SAP analysis, BOM error detection, variance research, and cross‑functional collaboration with Quality, Engineering, Planning, and Production.
- Execute Cycle Counts & SAP Transactions – Perform scheduled cycle counts, locate and verify material, document results in SAP, maintain material master data, process adjustments, resolve COGI issues, and clean up negative inventory to ensure month‑end accuracy.
- Support Production Through Clear Documentation & Reporting – Prepare and distribute daily production orders, shop packets, fab orders, serial tags, schedules, end‑of‑line reports, quality hold reports, and ad hoc SAP reports to keep production and materials teams fully aligned.
- Collaborate, Communicate & Strengthen the Team – Partner closely with supervisors, managers, and department personnel, support special projects, train peers as needed, participate in team meetings, and actively contribute to continuous improvement of inventory accuracy.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Inventory & Distribution Experience – High School diploma or GED required, with 1+ year of hands‑on experience in a distribution or warehouse environment, including inventory counting, discrepancy resolution, and root‑cause problem solving.
- Systems, Accuracy & Technical Skills – Detail‑oriented and highly accurate with data entry, basic math computations, inventory balancing, and recordkeeping; computer‑literate with beginner skills in MS Excel and SAP experience preferred; comfortable learning and using technology daily.
- Equipment, Organization & Time Management – At least 6 months of forklift operation experience, paired with strong organizational skills, effective time management, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting inventory and operational deadlines.
- Communication, Teamwork & Problem Solving – Strong verbal and written communication skills, collaborative across all organizational levels, respectful and solutions‑oriented, able to work independently after training, and recognized for analytical thinking and problem‑solving ability.
