HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT:
The Customer Account Coordinator for LATAM accounts plays a key role in the order services function, serving as the primary liaison between Oregon Tool and its customers. This position ensures a smooth, end-to-end order fulfillment experience, including all necessary follow-up activities. The role is accountable for delivering exceptional service to customers, third-party partners, and internal teams, acting as a central point of contact and information. This role, focusing on LATAM accounts, may also include other tasks, including some logistics and project management duties.
THE DETAILS:
Primary Task – Account Management
- Manage accounts, oversee orders and shipments, update portals, process returns and credits, allocate products, support sales, maintain pricing, coordinate finance, handle credit and cash requirements, and manage logistics.
Secondary Tasks – Performance
- Monitor performance metrics, process rebates, administer samples, optimize deliveries, participate in product lifecycle projects, escalate issues, and assist with SOP updates.
Additional Tasks – Data Management
- Maintain customer data, review orders and billing, support improvement, and ensure documentation for audits.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- High school diploma or GED required, 2-year degree, preferably in business or other related field, or equivalent experience
- Spanish language proficiency
- 3-10 years of customer service or account coordination experience working in business-to-business role, required
- Formal training in sales and customer service with proven experience in high level customer service required
- Proven ability to manage customer situations in a professional and efficient manner that is representative of the company; respond promptly to customer needs and solicit customer feedback to improve service
- Excellent verbal and written business communication skills
- Excellent skills in using business data software (SAP, other ERP software) for customer service, order processing, and reporting
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate to advanced proficiency in Word and Excel)
At Oregon Tool, we provide a reasonable, good-faith estimate of the compensation range for this role of $50,000 to $55,000. Final offers are based on various factors such as experience, skills, qualifications and internal equity. This range may vary based on geographic location where the position is filled, and most new hires are not typically hired at the top of the range.
