We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our corporate finance team located in our Headquarters in Portland, Oregon. 

 

The role in a nutshell:

This position will support the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis in developing advanced analytics for the organization that provide critical information to senior management, enabling the improvement of strategic and operational decision making and communication with the Board of Directors. This role will lead in the reporting and analysis of financial and operating metrics. It is be work closely with the sales organization as an internal customer to support sales reporting and pricing proposals.

 

 

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Provide analytical, quantitative, and financial cost modeling.
  • The Financial Analyst will assist in the preparation of internal financial reports and provide support for annual budgeting and frequent forecasting processes, with a focus on process improvement.
  • Perform extensive financial modeling and prepare budgeting, forecasting, cash flow projections, and financial analysis reports in the context of annual, quarterly, and monthly forecasting.

 

 

What you have:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business required. CPA or MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years of corporate accounting/finance experience, preferably within a consumer goods or manufacturing environment.
  • Exceptionally skilled in Excel (including Power Pivot) and Tier 1 ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred).
  • Some knowledge of distribution/sales channels (e.g. distributor, dealer, OEM, Retail, etc.) and experience working with sales teams would be highly preferred.
  • Experience preparing internal financial reports and cost modeling using historical data and to support future business objectives.
  • Ability to perform extensive financial modeling and prepare budgeting, forecasting, cash flow projections, and financial analysis reports in the context of annual, quarterly, and monthly forecasting.
