HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

The Global S&OP Planner is a resource for our customers by creating a competitive advantage within our organization in the area of customer order fulfillment. Accomplishing this goal through excellence in supply planning, and inventory management allowing our customers to get their job done right. 

 

THE DETAILS

Inventory Strategy Management: Provide 12-18 month inventory projections, manage SKU location forecast in SAP, and analyze deviations from plan to drive corrective actions. Develop best practices to improve customer service levels while optimizing inventory targets.

Global Finished Goods Planning: Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and key projects focused on improving manufacturing efficiency and customer service. Collaborate with Marketing and Procurement to align supply planning strategy.

Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP): Support monthly S&OP processes, including supply and inventory review, issue escalation, and action planning to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with demand.

Cross-functional Communication & Reporting: Facilitate communication between sales, operations, and planning teams, manage supply planning documentation, and provide timely updates and performance analysis to support decision-making and scenario planning.

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Education & Certifications: Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or supply chain management appreciated; but relevant industry experience is even more critical.

Experience & Software Proficiency: 5-7 years of experience in planning, forecasting, or related fields (e.g., purchasing, financial analysis, inventory planning). Advanced Excel skills required, with SAP and data management software proficiency preferred.

Supply Chain Expertise: Strong knowledge of supply chain management processes, including forecasting, MRP, procurement, and inventory management, both financial and operational.

Analytical & Communication Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong presentation and communication skills, and the ability to work with global teams. Experience with predictive models and ERP systems is essential.

 

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Washington, Colorado, Nevada, California, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Connecticut, Oregon Tool is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Oregon Tool, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000 - $100,000.
