HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT:
The Regional Sales Manager – ICS/Oregon Tool will create long-term revenue growth and sustained profits by building a global business that delivers best-in-class products and services for construction professionals in the sawing, drilling, demolition, finishing and infrastructure markets.
LOCATION:
This position will work remotely out of a home office in Seattle, WA and will be responsible for the assigned territory: Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Utah, Alaska, Alberta, British Columbia
THE DETAILS:
- Develop an assigned geographical market by growing and managing customers in the Concrete Cutting and Finishing (CCF) Direct Market Segment. This market segment inlcudes direct sourcing to the professional concrete sawing and drilling and water utility channels
- Drive customer demand and maximize product utilization of CCF Diamond Tools and Equipment effectivley and efficiently through promotions, demonstrations, training, service, technical support, local open houses and trade shows where required and appropriate
- Develop new customers to align with market potential
- Grow existing customers to achieve financial targets of unit volume and sales
- Manage expenses to ensure return on investment meets business unit objectives
- Aid the commercialization and development of new products, refinement, enhancement and field testing
- Provide field feedback from voice of customer
- Proactively take initiative and act on opportunities to improve organizational performance
- Document field activities to the organization on a weekly basis
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- High school diploma or GED is required, BS/BA in Business or Marketing preferred
- Five + years of experience including a balance of the following: contractor field sales, construction supply sales, construction supply management, and manufacturing sales or industry management
- Superior construction market knowledge and comprehension
- Mechanically apt, with the ability to demonstrate products effectively and comfortably in audience settings
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills using technical and non-technical terms
- Demonstrate personal integrity, professionalism and ethical standards in transactions, personal connections and reporting; act as caretaker and protector of company property
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; data management skills preferred
- Must be able to travel domestically and internationally including overnight stays, up to and at times exceeding 75% of the work year
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Washington, Colorado, Nevada, California, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Connecticut, Oregon Tool is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be ,filled. At Oregon Tool, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $85,000 - $90,000 plus commissions based off of sales in the assigned territory.
