HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT:
The ICS Regional Sales Manager will develop an assigned geographical market by growing and managing customers in the ICS Diamond Tools & Equipment Dealer/Rental Market Segments. The primary responsibility is to drive customer demand and maximize product utilization of ICS Diamond Tools and Equipment effectively and efficiently through demonstrations, training, promotions, service, technical support, local open houses, and trade shows where required and appropriate.
LOCATION:
This position will work remotely out of a home office in Denver or Seattle.
Territory: Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, New Mexico
THE DETAILS:
Develop Dealer/Rental Sawing and Drilling Contractors Geographical Market by Growing and Managing Customers and Sales
- Drive customer demand through active product demonstrations & PK training and maximize product utilization of ICS Diamond Tools and Equipment
- Develop strong customer relationships through promotions, demonstrations, training, service, and technical support
- Develop new customers to align with market potential
- Grow existing customers to achieve financial targets of unit volume and sales
- Manage expenses to ensure return on investment meets business unit objectives
- Manage customer payment activity and credit worthiness in cooperation with Credit Department
Communication and Documentation
- Communicate in both formal and informal formats and settings openly and candidly
- Document field activities to the organization on a weekly basis
- Maintain privileged information in confidence
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Bachelor High school diploma or GED equivalent
- BS/BA in Business or Marketing preferred
- 5 + years of experience that includes a balance of the following: contractor field sales, construction supply sales, construction supply management and manufacturing sales within the construction industry
- Mechanical aptitude and operational confidence to service mechanized equipment
- Superior construction market knowledge and comprehension
- Manipulate and demonstrate products effectively and comfortably in audience settings both on/off location
- Effective written and verbal communication using technical and non-technical terms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Working on-site, off-site, end user jobsite, before/after-hours, weekends, and trade shows as required
- Significant vehicle travel, and hotel overnight stays up to and at times exceeding 60% - 75% on a work year basis
At Oregon Tool, we provide a reasonable, good-faith estimate of the compensation for this role of $100,000 + commissions. Final offers are based on various factors such as experience, skills, qualifications and internal equity. This range may vary based on geographic location where the position is filled, and most new hires are not typically hired at the top of the range.
