We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Portland, Oregon.


Pay: Starting at $26.61 depending on experience + shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift and regular pay progressions


We are looking for someone that can:

  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment, disassembling and reassembling of machinery, overhaul gearboxes, and replace bearings, bushings, etc. 
  • Look for opportunities in equipment operation, identify potential machine failures and problems that impact production 
  • Perform mechanical work such as valve and pump maintenance, and lubrication routes 
  • Interpret schematics and equipment manuals and manufacturing drawings 
  • Maintain and repair automated packaging equipment including Fanuc robots 
  • Ensure that any manufacturing asset operates at its peak availability and reliability 
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance tasks and identify planned maintenance opportunities 
  • Use SAP/ERP system to record maintenance activities 
  • Maintain quality standards, safety and environmental standards, equipment life and cost control. 
  • Machine or fabricate parts using appropriate equipment, techniques, standards, and quality standards  
  • Work in multi-functional team to develop new equipment and processes 
  • Rebuild and convert machines, systems and assemblies used to manufacture product 


What you’ll do:

The Maintenance Mechanic will analyze, diagnose, or troubleshoot machine failures; repair or refurbish all types of manufacturing assets and support equipment in a high-volume manufacturing plant.  


Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required 
  • 5-year industrial mechanical maintenance experience 



  • Two-year technical degree  
  • 30 credit hours of Machine Technology courses with a 3.0 or greater GPA or equivalent experience.  
  • 8,000 hours of experience refurbishing, repairing, and troubleshooting manufacturing assets.  
  • Limited Maintenance Electrician license for Oregon. 



  • This position must be able to work any shift and weekends. 
  • Available to work on site as required by job; International travel may be required to meet divisional requirements
