HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT 

The Manufacturing Engineer will be able to apply technical expertise/analysis in planning and design in manufacturing processes while supporting senior engineers on significant projects.

 

THE DETAILS

  • Plans, conducts and implements research, development, or engineering assignments generally involving several high impact, high complexity manufacturing process projects.

  • Coordinates the work of Engineers, Technicians, and other support personnel. 

  • Interacts with marketing, accounting, purchasing, manufacturing, product design and suppliers/customers.

  • Works on miscellaneous manufacturing process problems dealing with production down time, loss of or low efficiency, or quality deviations.

  • Risk analysis.

  • Recommendations on new technologies.

  • Consultation to Engineering schools on curriculum improvement.

  • Identifies major “Engineering process” improvement opportunities.

  • Open written and verbal communication 

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • BS in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline

  •  2-5 years of relevant experience.

  • Core competencies: Demonstrated skills in continuous learning, flexibility, customer focus, quality commitment and good relationships are required.

The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Oregon Tool, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $71,800.00 - $111,900.00
