HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

The role will work across the Forestry, Lawn & Garden and Outdoor Power Equipment business segments working with retail and distribution channels for North America. The Marketing Associate is responsible for collaborating with sales teams to identify assortments and to develop in-store planograms, lead merchandising display development across all channels, and support tradeshows. This position will work cross-functionally with the National Accounts Sales Team, Product Marketing, Marketing Operations, Finance, creative team, and external vendors.

 

THE DETAILS

The role focuses on Marketing Plan Support and National Account Support to drive sales and brand recognition.

Marketing Plan Support

  • Develop planograms for retailers
  • Assists in planning and executing marketing campaigns, product launches, and trade show logistics
  • Manages merchandising initiatives, sales tools, and print production while ensuring alignment with North American marketing strategies
  • Tracks and analyzes marketing program effectiveness

National Account Support

  • Supports National Account Managers with merchandising, sales tools, and project coordination
  • Oversees planograms, off-shelf merchandising, and product assortments for in-store and online presence
  • Assists in customer meetings with samples, data, and online product setup

 

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Design preferred or equivalent experience
  • 3-5+ years in Marketing or Design with strong project management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail planogram software (preferably Quant Retail)
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • Analytical problem-solving skills
  • Business acumen – sales, gross margin, ROI, etc.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Washington, Colorado, Nevada, California, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Connecticut, Oregon Tool is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Oregon Tool, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $60,000 to $68,000.
