HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT:
The Sales Operations Manager for the North American region will be responsible for optimizing sales processes, implementing sales technologies, and ensuring the sales and marketing teams operate efficiently to support business growth and customer satisfaction. This role collaborates with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and drive sales performance.
LOCATION:
This position will work remotely out of a home office and will live in the Central or Eastern part of the US.
THE DETAILS:
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Process Optimization: Improve sales practices, document processes, and manage a central team calendar.
- Data Management: Maintain data quality and ensure consistent sales and marketing processes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to align strategies, create pipeline management tools, and ensure pricing consistency.
- Reporting and Forecasting: Develop KPI reports, dashboards, and growth packs; lead forecasting and performance tracking.
- Training and Support: Educate and support the sales team on new tools and processes, coordinate training, manage customer communications, and assist with contract negotiations.
- Communication and Documentation: Maintain open communication through conversation and both formal and informal documents
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- 7+ years of applicable experience required. Background in Sales Operations or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in sales operations, business development support, or a related role.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, thrive in a customer-centric culture and have a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and PowerBI
- Experience in preparing executive-level reports and presentations
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Effective written and verbal communication skills; able to express oneself clearly and in technical and non-technical terms
- Available to work on site or remote as required by job; eligible for domestic and international travel several times per year up to two weeks’ duration
- Travel required up to 25%
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Washington, Colorado, Nevada, California, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Connecticut, Oregon Tool is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Oregon Tool, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $110,000 to $130,000.
