HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT: 

The Senior Business Analyst will provide leadership for the recommendation, implementation, and support of global business systems for one or more major functional areas (e.g. Sales, Distribution, Manufacturing, Plant Maintenance, Purchasing, Human Resources, Finance, Controlling, Product Data Management, Inventory, and Business Warehouse).  This leadership enables the business to function more efficiently and meet the requirements placed on it by customers, government, and internal initiatives. The people in this position assist in maintaining the standardization and integrity of processes and data throughout the entire division.

 

THE DETAILS: 

  • Manage a queue of support requests, as well as potentially working with offshore teams to support the ERP system. 
  • Responsible for technical delivery, project management as well as team leadership. 
  • Lead solution design of ERP projects for Planning, procurement, and Manufacturing domains.
  • Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement and optimization to design future-state business processes aligned with SAP’s best practices in Manufacturing, Production Planning, and Plant Maintenance.
  • Helps with E2E Business Process modeling and fit/gap analysis (Solution Confirmation) of technology solutions.
  • Train and mentor team members and direct report on project management methodologies, supply chain and manufacturing concepts. Encourage automation as applicable.
  • Manage all aspects of small/medium/large, complex IT projects or multiple IT projects with minimal direction including project planning, execution, timing, requirements management, quality, and cost.

 

  QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:  

  • B.S. Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field required.
  • PMP Certification (or comparable project management experience), SAP Certification in MM, PM and PP modules, APICs certification and/or ITIL Foundational Certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years in SAP MM/PM/PP modules with cross-industry experience including integration with MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management).
  • 8 years of experience in designing custom solutions within the ECC/S4 landscape as well as solutions involving integrations with external systems.
  • 8 years responsibility for translating business requirements into an SAP solution design.
  • 5 years of global manufacturing company experience preferable.
  • 5 years of experience with SAP MII (Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence) or MES and their integration with SAP ECC.
  • Highly experienced in the MM/PM/PP and related SAP modules as a functional/technical expert and hands-on configurator but will have also had a broad understanding of SAP.
  • Implementation experience with a global manufacturing company, and understand both systems configuration, and overall systems architecture in an SAP environment. 
  • Ability to visualize new opportunities using latest industry 4.0 technologies and automation equipment to enable seamless, automated, and integrated data flows between internal systems and external consumption services.
  • Experience in enabling statistical analysis of data collected during the manufacturing process desired.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills; able to express oneself clearly and in technical and non-technical terms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and data management software (SAP preferred)
  • Available to work on site as required by job; eligible for domestic and international travel several times per year up to one week duration.

 

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Washington, Colorado, Nevada, California, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Connecticut, Oregon Tool is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Oregon Tool, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $125,000 to $150,000.
