HOW TO MAKE AN IMPACT
Under the guidance of the Sourcing Manager, the Sourcing Specialist MRO negotiates prices, contracts with suppliers, and conducts general cost analysis. The role is responsible for supporting Oregon Tool’s year-over-year cost reduction targets that positively impact EBITA targets. In addition, this role helps to ensure that the business is not interrupted. This is a key role for administering Oregon Tool’s policies and procedures for global supply chain activities while being mindful of Oregon Tool’s highest ethical standards.
THE DETAILS

Procurement and Supplier Management: Identify and source MRO materials and services, negotiate pricing and contracts, and develop strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement and operational efficiency.

Process Improvement and Strategy: Collaborate with global supply chain leadership to identify opportunities for process improvements, implement best practices, and track cost-saving initiatives through project management systems.

Data Analysis and Compliance: Analyze procurement data to recommend cost and efficiency improvements, audit and resolve invoice discrepancies, and ensure compliance with confidentiality agreements and company policies.

Stakeholder Engagement and Market Insight: Maintain open communication with stakeholders and suppliers, conduct supplier business reviews, and stay current on industry trends, technologies, and services.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent experience) required; professional certifications (e.g., ISM CPSM) preferred.

Experience: 3+ years of manufacturing procurement experience with familiarity in SAP and Ariba (preferred).

Technical and Analytical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and data management software; strong analytical problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.

Soft Skills and Work Ethic: Effective communication, teamwork, initiative, adaptability, creativity, and a commitment to professional growth and integrity.
AVAILABILITY
Available to work on site as required by job, eligible for domestic and international travel as needed, up to two weeks’ duration.

The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Oregon Tool, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $76,000 - $93,000.
