HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT:
Overall responsibility to plan, direct, control, and coordinate Concrete Cutting & Finishing (CCF) Prescott Operations. Proactively drive efforts to continually improve product cost, product quality, product delivery, workplace safety, employee training, employee engagement, employee recognition, production capacity, staffing and operating efficiency. Develop and maintain an organization that supports the strategic direction of the Company, oversees the activities to meet the targets and objectives for quality, delivery, and cost. In addition, provides leadership direction to develop and implement plans to meet plant targets and objectives.
THE DETAILS:
Operations Management
- Lead safety, security, compliance, and operational excellence through audits, corrective actions, and countermeasures
- Improve cost, quality, delivery, production flow, productivity, and KPI performance
- Lead, coach, train, develop, and support staff, including wage, salary, training, and benefit programs
- Support innovation, continuous improvement, creativity, and effective change management
- Manage cycle counting, inventory accuracy, shipping, and receiving
Operations Planning
- Champion customer order fulfillment by aligning Planning, Procurement, Prescott, Sales, and Customer/Tech Services
- Coordinate efficient plant production, resource planning, expenses, and capital budget needs
- Support NPI, SKU rationalization, product rollouts, production start-ups, efficiency, and inventory turns
- Track key manufacturing objectives, indicators, quality initiatives, and customer complaint follow-up
- Develop, monitor, and present operating and capital budgets, projections, and equipment plans to support productivity and production goals
Leadership & Support
- Plan long-range plant direction, develop the future production organization, and build cohesive teams
- Communicate clearly, manage change and competing demands, and maintain high performance
- Recruit, hire, onboard, develop, support, and motivate employees to improve results
- Lead safety, security, and projects while ensuring effective communication across all levels
- Improve processes, systems, quality assurance, and performance programs to support continuous improvement
- Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships at all levels of the organization
Communication and Documentation
- Communicate with direct reports and all Prescott based Team Members Company Communications, strategic plans, manufacturing plans, etc.
- Clarify plans, goals, and objectives through regular communications
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor of Science degree from accredited four-year university/college in Engineering, Business, or similar course of study
- 6 - 8 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- 6 - 8 years’ leadership, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Able to complete responsibilities in a timely, professional and quality manner
- Solve problems analytically; search out relevant information and gauge its importance when making decisions
- Effective written and verbal communication skills; able to express oneself clearly and in technical and non-technical terms
- Creative thinker
- Collaborative and effective team player and able to work with teams who are globally dispersed
- Set a good example of personal integrity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and data management software (SAP preferred)
Availability:
- Available to work on site as required by job; eligible for domestic and international travel several times per year up to two weeks’ in duration
At Oregon Tool, we provide a reasonable, good-faith estimate of the compensation range for this role of $120,000 to $147,000 + Bonus. Final offers are based on various factors such as experience, skills, qualifications and internal equity. This range may vary based on geographic location where the position is filled, and most new hires are not typically hired at the top of the range.
