As the Territory Manager for our Forestry, Lawn, and Garden business segment, you will be responsible for growing existing business with a hunter & can-do mindset within key Channel Partners and generating new businesses will be the recipe for success. Your territory will include, but not limited to: Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippines, Myanmar, Taiwan, and Sri Lanka.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish strong strategic partnership with Distributors + Dealers, leading to the positioning of Oregon Tool products as first choice of purchase for our end users
- Build strong meaningful relationships with the decision makers within the key accounts by building trust via a win-win long-term partnership
- Measure current sales within Channel Partners and develop action plans to increase sales revenue
- Responsible for building and implementing sound business proposals
- Manage the right resources & aligning priorities to support our ambitious growth plan for SE Asia within APAC region
- Active engagement with internal resources (e.g., Product Managers, Marketing Managers, Sourcing Managers) to identify & qualify new opportunities
- Lead challenging contract & pricing negotiation with customers
- Provide input for the annual operating plan (AOP) and the long-term business plan (LTBP)
- Competent & analytical in data to support monthly, quarterly & yearly sales forecasting projections
- Ability & flexibility for business travel around the region for at least 50% of the time
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- University degree in business administration OR marketing OR engineering
- Business fluent in written and spoken English + at least one additional second language (Mandarin or Bahasa Malay or Indonesian)
- Min. 7 years customer-facing outside sales experience
- Experience in managing & growing sales of products through the sales channels (distributors + dealers)
- Project management skills
- Car driver’s license
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure against tight deadlines
- Provide product training/demonstration to distributors, dealers and end-users as required
- Be a bold & creative problem solver overcoming challenges
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Results-driven with a commitment to achieving sales targets & assignments
- Knowledge of CRM software and sales reporting tools, MS Excel/Power Point /Sales Force/SAP BW
