Job: Area Sales Manager

Location: UK, area from M62 to the North of Scotland

Key responsibilities

  • Responsibility for managing the Oregon Tool dealer network across Scotland and Northern England.
  • Build excellent customer relationships to maximise Oregon Tool business across all product groups to ensure area targets are achieved.

 

Main Duties and Tasks

 

  • Develop and implement individual business plans for all  sales area dealers in line with set objectives.
  • Work to an agreed call cycle, meet with account decision makers and influencers on a regular basis to set, monitor and review plans, including Customer Business Plans.
  • Build relationships with potential and existing customers within the area to increase market share.
  • Analyse the market and competition and take appropriate actions to respond to opportunities and business risks.
  • Regular reporting (weekly / monthly) on the sales activities against plan, implementing corrective actions and solutions as required.
  • Deliver new product presentations and demonstrations to drive profitable & sustainable revenue growth.
  • Identify and evaluate potential new accounts, and complete new account setup process as and when necessary.
  • Work with the dealers, to ensure Oregon Tool products and brand communication are agreed and maintained in and outside dealer showrooms.
  • Conduct product training for dealership staff as and when required
  • Attend shows, events and dealer open days as required. 
  • Support the finance team with customer changes, update finance team for changes to credit risk and helping to resolve issues.
  • To work in a manner consistent with best health and safety practice and comply with Oregon Tool code of conduct.
  • Any other duties as may be required by the Commercial Manager.

 

Key Deliverables:

  •  To meet and exceed own area sales targets in all product groups.

              

  • To create a plan for individual accounts  and for the area along with Commercial Manager to ensure long term sales performance.

              

  • To develop and execute a plan for dealer showroom displays, product knowledge, range stocked, sales and workshop training.

              

  • To analyse the area to expand the dealer network and give full product coverage in the area.
