The Position
Means you are part of the European Marketing team and responsible for Harvester and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which are two of the areas Oregon specializes in. You will be stationed in Varberg and keep an eye on the Nordic market and trends, while collaborating with the team in Europe working from Belgium, France and Germany.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Category Strategy and Optimization:
• Develop and execute comprehensive category strategies aligned with company goals across Europe
• Conduct in-depth category analyses to identify growth opportunities, market trends, and consumer insights.
• Optimize product assortments, pricing, and promotions to maximize category performance.
• Build a Go to market strategy for new products developed matching the company targets
2. Trade Marketing:
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective trade marketing campaigns
• Create compelling promotional campaigns, displays, and merchandising strategies to drive product visibility and sales.
• Analyze trade promotion effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Help to work on trade fair show and events
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with sales, marketing, supply chain, and product development teams to ensure alignment on category strategies.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to integrate trade marketing initiatives into overall business plans.
4. Data Analysis and Reporting:
Utilize data analytics tools to assess category and trade marketing performance.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations summarizing key insights, trends, and recommendations.
5. Market Research:
Stay aware of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
• Conduct regular market research to identify emerging opportunities and potential risks.
• Visit customers to benchmark our competitors understand the need of our clients, travelling approx. 10-20% of the time both locally and internationally

The role suits you who have a background and experience in working with Marketing and Trade. Just like us at Oregon Tool, we see that you have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a clear business mindset. We are looking for you who have:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
• • Proven experience in category management and trade marketing within the Mass merchants, Traditionnal trade and/or Distibutors framework
A • • An understanding of the Nordic Market.
• • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• • Excellent communication and presentation skills, being proactive in listening and collecting feedbacks
• Excellent command of English, another European language is a plus
• Proficient in using data analytics tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional and cross-cultural team environment.
• Results-driven with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes.
You report directly to our Go-to-Market and Marketing Director in France.
The position is a permanent, full-time position.
